The rows above are the functions. Pick the industry you are interviewing for:
A case without exhibits is a riddle, and a case without a model answer is a guess. Every one in the library has all four.
The brief as an interviewer would read it out: the client, the situation and the question you are asked to answer.
The charts and tables the case turns on. Read them, do the math and defend the number you land on.
How a strong candidate structures it, what the exhibits say, and the recommendation the case builds toward.
Type, difficulty, function, sector and page count, so you can pick a short drill or a full sitting before you open it.

Prompt and exhibits first, then open the model answer to check yourself.
Ask for the PDF on any case; we email you a printable copy to run with a partner.
Before the first interview, McKinsey, BCG and Bain each send their own online test, with its own format and timer. That is what our paid practice covers.
A library case is read at your own pace. BCG's Casey is a chatbot that asks one question at a time, with exhibits you open as you go and no way back. The screen on the right is our free Casey-style demo: a full case you can run tonight.
Not sure which test you will get? Our guide to MBB online assessments explains what each firm sends.

Yes. All 63 cases, with the prompt, exhibits and model answer, are free to read in your browser. There is no trial, no tier, no card and no login. If you want a case as a PDF, we email it to you.
No. Every case page is public, and the free drills for math, charts and market sizing play without one too. A free account (no card) keeps your drill history. The PDF is the one thing that needs your email address, because we send it to you.
In an interviewer-led case the interviewer steers: they ask, you answer, they move you on. In a candidate-led case you drive: you choose the structure, request the data and decide when to recommend. The library has both, and each case is labeled.
Filter at /library by type, difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard), function (14 of them, from Profitability to M&A), sector and stretch area, so you can drill the one thing you keep getting wrong.
Only partly. Cases build the fundamentals: structuring, math, reading exhibits and landing a recommendation. BCG Casey, McKinsey Solve and Bain's Sova or TestGorilla test are different formats with their own timing and mechanics. That is what our paid practice is for.
Practice for the firms' online tests: BCG Casey-style cases, McKinsey Solve-style scenarios and Bain-style aptitude tests, one-time prices from $20. The All-Access Pass ($250) covers all of it and has a 7-day money-back guarantee. The library stays free either way.
