CaseDrill was founded to solve a problem every consulting candidate faces: there is no official practice material for the real assessments. McKinsey’s PSG, BCG’s Casey Chatbot, Bain’s SOVA — each one is a proprietary format, and candidates walk in blind with nothing but generic casebooks and YouTube videos.
Our team of ex-consultants identified the pattern. We began systematically collecting debriefs from candidates across every recruiting cycle — what they saw, what the format looked like, which case types kept repeating. After 500+ debriefs across multiple seasons, we rebuilt every test format from scratch. Not theory. The actual cases, paraphrased and verified.
We built the prep platform we wished existed when we were candidates. Our research team updates every case, every cycle — priced at a fraction of what a single coaching session costs.

A decade in the making
2015
CaseDrill founded by a team of ex-consultants who saw a gap in assessment prep — candidates were studying with generic casebooks that looked nothing like the real tests.
2018
Began systematic collection of candidate debriefs across MBB firms. Established research partnerships and built the first debrief analysis framework.
2020
First case library released — 200+ cases paraphrased from real debriefs. SOVA and BOVA coverage added. 500th candidate debrief collected.
2023
Launched CaseDrill platform publicly. Timed simulations for PSG and Casey Chatbot go live. First candidates report cases were almost identical to the real thing.
2025
500+ cases across every MBB assessment format. Updated for the latest recruiting season. Expanded our research team to cover new assessment formats.
