What stuck was one set before opening email.
Solve went fine, but honestly the thing I want to thank you for is Daily Drill.
I'm a banking analyst and I was prepping on weekends only. By Wednesday I'd lost it all. In month three I finally got a mock with a McKinsey consultant. She asked me to estimate a margin and I just froze while she waited. She was so kind about it, which made it worse.
A friend told me: not more hours, a little every day. I broke my streak on day 4 and again on day 9 (deal team, 2am nights). What stuck was one set before opening email. I'm on day 30 now, around 15 seconds on math that used to take me 40.
I had a second mock with the same consultant last week. She said "that was fast" and offered to refer me.
lowkey the reason is the leaderboard.

haha no drama this time, went well!
lowkey the reason is the leaderboard. last year in my first club mock a senior asked 15% of 480 and i pulled out my PHONE. in front of everyone. club president made all of us do daily drill after that. i was dead last week 1 and lost my streak twice during midterms. day 60-something now and top 10 in the club
casey math felt easy. phone stays in my backpack now lol
But I did get faster.

Thank you for asking. It went well. I'm a nurse practitioner moving into healthcare consulting, and I work 12-hour shifts, so time is my real problem, not discipline.
I bought a 300-page casebook and read 20 pages in a month. Three months in, I still couldn't size a market without a calculator, which was discouraging. A consultant on LinkedIn told me to put the book down and do small daily reps, so I did Daily Drill on my breaks. I missed a lot of days after night shifts, and it took two weeks before I noticed I was faster. But I did get faster.
One wish: an offline mode. Parts of our hospital have no signal at all.
